“As an artist I focus on the complexity and beauty of science. Topics that we don’t know or fully understand intrigue me: time, light, but also the physical experience of how the body inhabits space. The Unknown is my biggest source of inspiration. In my work, I expose what is normally out of sight. Using cross-sections, magnification and transparency, my objects show what is hidden and literally below the surface, creating new vantage points and conceptual understandings of how we understand the material world. “- Anna Gray
